My approach, as directed by my elders, is to practice herbal medicine and nutrition in a vitalist way. Those who give a strong herb when a mild herb would do, or a mild herb when dietary change would suffice, or a dietary change when advice would have been enough, doesn't allow the client to find their own wisdom or self-mastery, and thus are not qualified to practice.

Kimberly Inez

This concept was handed down to me from Paul Bergner and Heather Luna.

Meet Kimberly Inez

How it all started

"When I moved into the deep mountains of NC and settled into a slower lifestyle, one very close to the land leaving city life behind, my entire life changed. I farmed, chopped wood, milked cows and goats, made my own soap, bathed in the river, and fell in love with the forest and the abundance of “friends”, plants, that existed waiting to be met... knowledge that some plants were medicinal made me feel so connected to the earth, and amazed me that some plants could offer more than just their beauty or edibility. This inspiration peaked interest in medicine making for me. I started attending different herbal workshops at multiple primitive skills gatherings, reading herbal books, and pretty much right off the bat started identifying plants and making my own salves, tinctures, and tea blends."
